“To be an ambassador” by Pastor Patricia Mavhandu, Wednesday Service, the 20th of March 2013.

Scripture reading: Ruth 1:11: “11 But Naomi said, “Turn back, my daughters; why will you go with me? Are there still sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands? 12 Turn back, my daughters, go — for I am too old to have a husband. If I should say I have hope, if I should have a husband tonight and should also bear sons, 13 would you wait for them till they were grown? Would you restrain yourselves from having husbands? No, my daughters; for it grieves me very much for your sakes that the hand of the Lord has gone out against me!” 14 Then they lifted up their voices and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law, but Ruth clung to her. 15 And she said, “Look, your sister-in-law has gone back to her people and to her gods; return after your sister-in-law.” 16 But Ruth said: “Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go; And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God. 17 Where you die, I will die, And there will I be buried. The Lord do so to me, and more also, If anything but death parts you and me.” 18 When she saw that she was determined to go with her, she stopped speaking to her.” NKJV.

How can you be an ambassador when you still allow the spirit of heaviness to control you?  You cannot be an ambassador if you are still controlled by the world.

There is a word called, discouragement, if you and I allow ourselves to be discouraged we will no longer arrive where God want us to go. If this discouragement is within you it will steal all what God has prepared for you and you won’t make it.

In this book of Ruth, this old lady Naomi had sons who were married but when her sons died she decided to go back to her family. She requested her daughters-in-law to go to their families because she, no longer had sons who could marry them and she was too old; she could no longer get married and so according to her, it was better for them to go to back to their own families.  The bible says Ruth didn’t listen to what Naomi was saying. The bible says Ruth told Naomi “Wherever you go I will go with you and where you die I will die with you.”

What does this tell us? These tells us that we have to invite God into our lives and wherever we go, we must go with Him and in whatever we do we must let Him be the Savior and the Provider. It doesn’t matter what the witches and wizards have planned with your life but if you ask God to be with you nothing can harm you.  You might be sick, things might be bad on your side but you need to stand firm and say “Wherever I go Jesus is with me.”

As a youth you might think things are going very wrong, even if people are talking bad about you, whether people are giving you different names but you can declare “Jesus is Lord!” even if you are facing changes.  The bible says a good ambassador does not allow himself / herself to be discouraged, a good ambassador is the one who always stands firm with God. No matter what people might be saying about you but just stand firm and always say “God, it is well with my soul!”.  When David defeated Goliath there was a Spirit within him, a Spirit without measure, a Spirit that gives life and power, we can also invite that Spirit and let God to take over in our situations.

When trials and troubles come just stand firm and always declare that “Jesus is Lord and He has died for my sins and He will provide a way for me.”

It is said that there are days that are set for us, and because we do not know how long our lives are supposed to be or how long will we live we need to work fully and hard because we do not know what tomorrow brings.  Maybe you are in the house of the Lord serving, the bible says people will come and discourage you; the devil will try by all means to discourage you. He may bring death or sickness in your family so that you can think that there is no God but what I can tell you is that do not allow yourself to be discouraged; stand firm and know that He is God.

Hebrews 6:12 “12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.” NKJV.

The word of God says we must not be lazy but be servants who serve the Lord so that we can inherit the kingdom of heaven. The question might be “How do I inherit the kingdom of heaven?” We inherit the kingdom of heaven by serving and being a great ambassador of the kingdom of God and in everything that we engage ourselves in, we must represent God Almighty and He will bless us.

It is said that when waves come there is only one person who can calm them down and that person is the Lord our master, who is able to do all; what we need to do is to just invite Him and tell Him “On our own we cannot make it but we need You on our side” He will be there and will strengthen and empower you to make it.

Be a great ambassador who represents the kingdom of God and refuse to be taken down by the devil.

  1. 21.                        Thanks giving

Last week, we spoke about the inner person, who is in you? During the week we heard about John 1:42 “42 And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is translated, A Stone).” NKJV.

Last week muddy people didn’t come to church. If you are a mud person, God can’t build the church on you. He needs the stone.

In 1 John 4:4-7 the bible says greater is the one in you. not you. This means that there is somebody in you. There is somebody great in you.

David says “Praise the Lord, oh my soul and all that is within me.” He doesn’t say “Praise the Lord, oh me.” He knows that the body is the least important of all, that the body is always too tired to serve the Lord.

When it is raining the body will say, “Ah, it is raining! I am not going to church” He knew the body, which is why he encouraged the spirit. “Praise the Lord, oh my soul.” He knew that greater is the one in me, not me. The bible says Ps 103:1 “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name!” NKJV.

The problem is God didn’t want you to be the greater one because you would boast but that the one in you must be greater. The one who will reprimand you to go to church, rain or no rain, tired or not tired is the greater one. If you can’t listen to your inner One, then you have a problem. If you offend the Holy Spirit you will not be forgiven. Allow the Holy Spirit to work in you.

Scripture reading:
1 Kings 18:20-33 “Elijah’s Mount Carmel Victory 20 So Ahab sent for all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together on Mount Carmel. 21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said,”How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word. 22 Then Elijah said to the people,”I alone am left a prophet of the Lord; but Baal’s prophets are four hundred and fifty men. 23 Therefore let them give us two bulls; and let them choose one bull for themselves, cut it in pieces, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it; and I will prepare the other bull, and lay it on the wood, but put no fire under it. 24 Then you call on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the God who answers by fire, He is God.” So all the people answered and said, “It is well spoken.” 25 Now Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “Choose one bull for yourselves and prepare it first, for you are many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire under it.” 26 So they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, “O Baal, hear us!” But there was no voice; no one answered. Then they leaped about the altar which they had made. 27 And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.” 28 So they cried aloud, and cut themselves, as was their custom, with knives and lances, until the blood gushed out on them. 29 And when midday was past, they prophesied until the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice. But there was no voice; no one answered, no one paid attention. 30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. 31 And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying,”Israel shall be your name.” 32 Then with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord; and he made a trench around the altar large enough to hold two seahs of seed. 33 And he put the wood in order, cut the bull in pieces, and laid it on the wood, and said, “Fill four waterpots with water, and pour it on the burnt sacrifice and on the wood.”” NKJV.

1 Kings 18:36-38 “6 And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word. 37 Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You are the Lord God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.” 38 Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench.” NKJV.

1 Kings 18:39 “39 Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!”” NKJV.

Let’s speak about the man, Prophet Elijah, who never wanted to suppress the inner One. It was not Prophet Elijah who was doing all these things. It was the inner One, who was in operation. King Ahab you have killed all the prophets of God and I alone am left but I am not afraid of you. Now you can kill me but call all the prophets of Baal, all the prophets of Asherah and all the children of Israel.”

In this text the bible tells us that Prophet Elijah challenged King Ahab, knowing very well that the inner One in him would operate. Church it is time to let the inner One to work.

“Now Prophet Elijah you are the king, unless you turn around unto the Lord, I want to prove to you that it will not rain. The one in me will stop the rain” and indeed the rain stopped.

He wanted to do, what he wanted to do, in front of all of them, “I am not afraid. There is someone in me, who is greater than the one in the world.” He challenged the king in front of his people, and he challenged all the king’s prophets in front of the nation.

It is time that you don’t do some of the things but allow the One in you to operate and do them.

They all came running: the lying prophets. When they came, he called them by their titles; “You Baal prophets! Stand this side, Asherah prophets that side.”

He says to them, “Choose today, which god you serve. Whether the one in heaven or your gods.” He was tired of the people who went to church during the day but at night were serving Baal.

He wanted to show off the living God, Lord God Almighty. “You have blasphemed my God enough; Today let’s prove which God is alive.”

His spirit was stirred up.

“Set your altar. Because you are many, start, I am just alone. You are eight hundred. Take the bull and put it on the altar and call upon your fire and upon your god.” They said “You are a small boy, you are foolish boy! We can do that even before the sun sets.” They were quick and cut the bull and put it on the altar. They started praying; that day the fire was sleeping. They called, “Baal! Baal! Answer by Fire!” over and over but there was no positive response.

Baal was quite. Prophet Elijah said “Maybe the fire cannot come because of my presence, let me leave.” They called the fire, but the fire was scared, they called on the fire but the fire refused.

They said “Baal cannot hear this ordinary prayer, let’s change and do something else” and they started to cut themselves. “Baal, answer by fire!”

When Prophet Elijah came back, he was surprised “Why is there now blood? We spoke about fire not about blood. No! No! Don’t kill yourself. Maybe Baal is still asleep. Send somebody to wake him up, maybe he is still sleeping.”

Prophet Elijah left them alone again. When he came back they now looked like skeletons about to die. It was because they were cutting themselves and bleeding too much.

There are people who would rather die even when they can see that there is no life. You will see them persisting with the useless things.

Prophet Elijah then came and said “I want you to see my God. I want you to see the One in me” he took the bull, cut it and put it on the altar.

Remember the nation was there, seeing the skeletons bleeding about to kill themselves, “No no, I can see you are dying. I don’t you want you to die! I want you to see the One in me.”

People must see The One in you through you. Through the miracles that He is performing in your life.

Prophet Elijah asked them to pour water on the altar. He did not pour paraffin. Yes, because the One in him is powerful, He (God) is the one who changed the water into paraffin.

After the water was poured Prophet Elijah raised his hands and prayed “God, I know you are powerful, I want you to show this people that you sent me, I want this people to see that you are a powerful God.”

Remember that the skeletons were watching, the nations were watching.

The fire came down, consumed the bull, the water and even the soil.

The God who lives answered by fire and all the people fell on their faces and said “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!” They said “We are going to serve the God of Prophet Elijah.” The bible says Prophet Elijah was alone but after the fire, he commanded the people “Arrest these skeletons, then go and kill them.”

He was ordering people who didn’t know him, people who were behind Baal.

There are a lot of people who are blind out there, who are waiting to see your God, they are waiting to see the one who is in you. They are waiting for Him to perform miracles in and through you.

He said to them “Arrest them!” Supposing it was today and we instruct you “Go and arrest that powerful witch and kill him” What would you do?

Even King Ahab realised “Yes, I have made a mess.” The bible says he went back to Mount Carmel and he released the rain. He released the rain and sent somebody “Tell King Ahab to rush and go home for there is the sound of abundance of rain.” The One in him released the power.

The power in you must be released. Start to deal with the state of fear in you. If your God is afraid, the inner one in you is not afraid. Why don’t you allow the inner one to work?

If the bible says the greater One in you, it means that He is great. Don’t compare Him to your weight; what He wants from you is that you allow Him to work. Allow the One in you to work. Don’t allow yourself to speak, allow the One in you to speak. Maybe He is quite in you because you want to speak and you don’t give him the chance to speak.

Today you can see if you want to see. We need to revive the one who is in you.

He wants to work, he is not here to relax, He is here to work, to prove to this world thru you “I am a different person, because there is Christ in me and I know that Jesus Christ says He will build a church on me.

Rom 7:21-25 “1 I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. 22 For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24 O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 I thank God — through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.” NKJV.

The wrong things in me, I don’t want to do, but at the end I do them but those I want to do, I don’t do.

The same Paul says I destroyed them, those who force me, to do the wrong instead of the right. That is why David says “Praise the Lord oh my soul”. If he had opened his mouth and said “Praise the Lord my body,” he would have created a problem for himself. The One who is great is the One in us, allow him to work. He will deal with the wrong in us that make us do wrong things.

We know the right that we want to do and we know the right things, some of the things we do purposefully. It is important to search ourselves. The problem is that if you continue to suppress the inner One in you, God will move Him out. Remember King Saul who continuously suppressed the inner One, who allowed the Inner one to be quenched; God took Him away.

God will not continue to allow the One in you to be continuously suppressed. That is why it will be difficult for you to serve God. You won’t even enjoy being in church. For many we just see their bodies inside the church, the inner one is already gone. They can’t even hear the word of God.

Let’s call unto God to be merciful unto us. Maybe the time for the inner one in you is already over, ask God for forgiveness. Maybe you were supposed to have already done some things but you have already failed God. Ask Him to reconcile Him unto you.

Prayer:
God, in the name of Jesus, forgive me, if the spirit in me; is already surprised, it is because of my blindness. Today I can see that I have done wrongs. Forgive me, oh Lord, I want to work, I want the inner me to operate as per your will.

Please oh Lord, forgive me if I have suppressed the spirit that is in me.
Forgive me.

God, in the name of Jesus, thank you for your forgiveness I am going to work. I know that the spirit in me will start to work according to your will.

God, in the name of Jesus, I am not going to die before my time, I am going to work for the Lord. I am going to proclaim the glory of my Lord.

God, in the name of Jesus I proclaim my prosperity for the year 2013. I said before Christmas that 2013 shall be my year. All doors that are closed I declare them opened in Jesus’ name.

God, in the name of Jesus, all my enemies I pray for them, forgive them, forgive all my enemies, even those who are planning negative things for me, I forgive them in Jesus’ name.

“Where do you put your trust?” by Pastor Johanna Mukhavhuli, Wednesday Service, the 23rd of January 2013.

Scripture reading: Isaiah 43:1-4 “1 But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. 4 Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life.”
NKJV.

Where do you put your trust? We heard the word of God from the book of Isaiah. The bible says the God of Israel, the creator of heaven and earth is saying to us that he is the one who delivered the Israelites from the hand of the Egyptians. God is saying that we need not to be afraid because He is the one who delivered the Israelites and He knows us and He even knows our names.

God knows Israel and He knows Jacob, He knows them by their names He is saying that He is the one who saved them from the Egyptians. The bible says that when the Israelites where with Moses in the wilderness they started to grumble and to complain that it would have been better if Moses had left them to starve and die in Egypt rather than letting them to suffer in the wilderness.

The bible says Moses asked them to be still and he told them that they should no fear evil because the Lord is with them. The bible says Moses told the Israelites that they must not be afraid because the Egyptians they were seeing were not gonna come no more.

So many people are so afraid and they forget that they have God in their lives and He is the Savior and Healer. When people hear strange things in their homes at night they get scared and consult the prophets and sangomas for protection, forgetting that they have God inside them and He is the master of everything.

God knows us and He even knows our names. Even though you are committing a sin He is seeing you and He knows all your plans. So what you need to know is that when you are committing sin it hurts God and God is seeing whatsoever that you are doing even though the pastor or church members do not see it but God himself sees everything that it is happening on earth.

God is telling us powerful and wonderful words tonight: if we trust in Him and put all our trust unto the Lord, He will deliver us and He will save us from whatsoever that we are coming across. There were these three men in the bible, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego and the bible says these men committed themselves and they made a vow that they will not bow to any gods and they would only serve the living God.

A time came when the king heard that these men were not following his instructions and that they were not worshiping his idols. He asked his servants to put these men into the consuming fire but because these men had trust in the Lord they offered their lives for the sake of the kingdom of heaven and God saved them.

Nowadays there are many people who are living to please people rather than please God. Daniel was delivered from the den of the lions because he had trust in the Lord and Gideon defeated the Midianites with the army of three hundred because he had the living God on his side. God was with him and He saved him and his army. If only you could put your trust in the Lord He will deliver you and He will set you free irrespective of whatsoever that you might be going through. We need men and women who can stand in the gap for their families and say “Even if our neighbours are always quarreling with us, we will stand still and know that we have the God of Israel on our side.”

Free yourself so that you can enter in the kingdom of God. Call unto Him and tell Him that irrespective of the situations you are facing, you will stand still and proclaim His name. God is saying “Do not be afraid but stand up and take a decision of worshiping Him”. It doesn’t matter that your family is worshiping idols but you can stand up and trust in the Lord and God will use you to deliver your family from the bondage of the devil.

God says “Do not be afraid for He is your God and He chose you, He knows you and He even knows the number of your hairs.” God will never forsake nor leave you; it is you who might turn away from Him but He is always faithful and His mercy endures forever and He is the omnipresent God.

God can chase your enemies away for your sake and He will fight every spiritual fight for you for the sake of your life. He redeemed us by the blood of His only begotten son for the sake of our lives to be free because He saw us and He saw that we deserve good things that is why He sent his son to set us free.

He says “Come morning, I don’t remember the bad things you have done” but He always blesses us and sees us as good people, so let us not pervert ourselves because God is pleased by those who are holy and righteous.

God is looking for people who are willing and obedient who will put their trust unto the Lord, put Him first in everything they do or have including their possessions and He will save them. Do not be afraid.

Prayer Points: Pastor MJ Lishivha

1. Repentance of Sins
Psalm 32:5 “5 I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah” NKJV

2. Ask for the spirit to be strong like a rock
John 1:42 “42 And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is translated, A Stone).” NKJV.

Matt 16:18 “18 And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.” NKJV.

Ask for the spirit to be strong like a rock.

3. Ask for the spirit of discernment
John 2:24 “24 But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men,” NKJV.

4.Pray to have unconditional love
John 3:16 “16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” NKJV.

The grace to love all unconditionally.

5. God make us people who love the light
John 3:21 “21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”” NKJV.

5. Believe the word of God
John 4:49-50 “49 The nobleman said to Him, “Sir, come down before my child dies!” 50 Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your son lives.” So the man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and he went his way.”
NKJV.

We are here not because all is well but to worship God. When we are here the devil whispers into our ears and brings doubt into our hearts so that we will not believe in the deliverance and healing we were believing we will get.

Just like in the story in this text: Jesus Christ says go your way, your son has been healed. Same with you, believe that it is well with you.

6. God helps to do better
Titus 3:5 “5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,” NKJV.
We are here not because we are righteous or because we have done good works, it is by His grace. Oh Lord give us more of your Give us the grace.

God, empower us to do more and better and to serve you better.

Paul says I forget the past and I press on, I regard the past as vain and useless. We need more of your grace oh God.

7. Against the spirit of fear
2 Tim 1:7 “7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” NKJV.

Pray against the spirit of fear especially in our children as they go to the different schools and institutions.

8. Heal our land
2 Chron 7:14 “14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” NKJV.

Let’s cry unto God to heal our land. Let’s humble ourselves before God and ask Him to reveal the secrets behind our problem what are the things we need to do in our lives, families, schools, work etc

We humble ourselves before the Lord God Almighty and we ask for divine intervention into our lives, our land, and the body of Christ in Jesus’ name.

9. Thank God for his forgiveness
Luke 7:42 “42 And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?”” NKJV.

Some people know they have really transgressed before the Lord but the devil then whispers to them: your sins are way too much, you don’t deserve mercy. They then they start to doubt the forgiveness of God.

It’s not about how much you have sinned but about whether you humble yourself and repent be the Lord.
Let’s pray and thank God because He has forgiven us our sins, that were red as scarlet.

10. Unstable marriages
There are marriages that are in trouble because they are under attack. God, we ask that you will bring restoration to these marriages in Jesus’ name. The plans of the enemy shall not prevail in Jesus’ name.

11. To put fire in the wombs
Those wombs that the devil has declared will not conceive and bring forth birth. Set them on fire.

Let everything that the devil planted in those wombs catch fire in Jesus’ name.

12. Set whatever the enemy threw into our yards on fire
There are those who wait for you to go to church and then plant or throw things in your yards. Let’s set these things on fire now.

13. Praying for the leadership training
This Saturday we are having leadership training. Let’s pray for the success thereof.

14. Praying for unity and maturity
When I was young I spoke like a child, when I was an orphan I spoke like an orphan. Refuse to be an orphan and grow up.
1 Peter 2:2 “2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,” NKJV.

Let’s pray for unity so we can do the will of God, and to grow up spiritually so that our lives will be pleasing unto You God.

15. Thanks giving
Let’s thank God for these prayers and the answers that He has released.

18 November 2012 Sun Rev S Mametsa I WILL LIFT MINE EYES UNTO THE LORD

http://kutamaphc.weebly.com/18-november-2012-sunday.html

Scripture reading: Daniel 4:28-37 “28 All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar. 29 At the end of the twelve months he was walking about the royal palace of Babylon. 30 The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?” 31 While the word was still in the king’s mouth, a voice fell from heaven: “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you! 32 And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen; and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.” 33 That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws. Nebuchadnezzar Praises God 34 And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation. 35 All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him,”What have You done?” 36 At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and splendor returned to me. My counselors and nobles resorted to me, I was restored to my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me. 37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.” Daniel 4:28-37, NKJV.

God wants us to know about this man King Nebuchadnezzar who was a king. It is important for us to know how important and miraculous our God is, the king that we are talking about was a powerful king and he was the one who built Babylon. The bible says he moved around in Babylon and he looked around all the corners of Babylon and he started boasting about what he has done. He said “…”Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?” Dan 4:30, NKJV.

The king forgot that God is above his authority; he boasted and angered God. God said addressed Him that “Oh King Nebuchadnezzar at this very hour your kingship is taken away from you.” The bible says Dan 4:31 “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you!” NKJV. God respected king Nebuchadnezzar and when He visited him He addressed king. What made God angry with him was when the king boasted about his own power forgetting that it is not by his power but that it was God who enabled him.

Many people are failing to receive blessings because they are boasting about their power forgetting that the power comes from God. They speak about their power and about the power of God. To me King Nebuchadnezzar blasphemed the Lord. In whatever that the Lord has given to you, whatever it may be, you have no right to stand up and say “It is mine!” When you born you came out like a child with nothing in your hand, so you are in no positions to say “This is mine!” You are facing God to respond and He will respond. The voice came from heaven “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you!” Dan 4:31, NKJV.

The bible says “…”God resists the proud,” James 4:6, NKJV. When you boast you are forcing God to respond and God will respond. Why did God take away King Nebuchadnezzar‘s kingship?

God wanted to prove to him that whatever that he had achieved in Babylon was from God and that it was up to God to take it from him. King Nebuchadnezzar was full of proud words and the bible says when he was still boasting the words came from heaven and said “Oh king, all your kingship is taken away.” “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you!” Dan 4:31, NKJV. And according to my understanding I think the king was happy when he heard the voice from heaven talking to him because he didn’t know what that voice was going to say to him. The voice started by giving him respect as a king. The word of God didn’t say the kingdom is “Going to be taken away” but God said right now “The kingdom has been taken away”. The voice was very clear saying that the kingdom had been taken away.

The bible says “You king Nebuchadnezzar, with that kingship in you; you will become the king of the animals.” The bible tells us that voice told the king that he will be driven out. The question today is “Where is your kingdom?” “Has your kingdom been taken away?” Some people`s kingdoms have been taken away from them. The bible says God cursed the king for seven years. So even you if God is to curse you He won’t curse you forever but He will put a certain time to give you time to repent.

There are some people who are rich, who have everything but they forget that there is someone who has all the riches; they boast about what they have. God resists the pride that is why king Nebuchadnezzar was made to live like animals. The bible says immediately after the voice came from above he started to eat like a cow. God proved to the king that even with all your riches and possessions I can control them because they are from Me.

When God came down all things that were owned by the king started to obey the orders from heaven. Why did God allow the dew to cover the king? He did not make it rain but He allowed the dew to cover the king. God allowed dew to cover him so that his hairs could grow. If God didn’t allow the hair to grow quickly he would have not survived the weather out there so his skin needed to be changed to that of animals. God wanted to prove to the king that all authority belongs to Him.

What pleases me is that the bible says that at the end of seven years king Nebuchadnezzar lifted his eyes to heaven. You can do whatever that you do but, the time will come when you will lift up your eyes to the right person at the right place, the one who is above everything. The king was tired of living like animals then he chooses to look unto the person who created everything the one who is in heaven. Nebuchadnezzar knew that someone supernatural is up there. Psalm121:1 “I will lift up my eyes to the hills — From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.” Psalm121:1, NKJV.

If you have lost something and “you look” up your understanding and senses will come back. Maybe you are delayed to prophesy because you are looking down; the time is now that you need to lift up your eyes to heaven. When you are looking up you can say “God, you are holy”, you cannot say God is holy when you are facing down. King Nebuchadnezzar lifted his eyes to heaven and exalted God, giving Him praises. There are people who take time to prophesy, there are some people who are waiting for their situations to force them to prophesy.

God wants to show us that we are all equal and that He is the only one sited in the throne. The bible says humble yourself and God will lift you up, if you are full of pride God will resist you. “12 Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, And before honor is humility.” Prov 18:12, NKJV. Nebuchadnezzar prophesied to God because he received the wisdom so that he could realise that he had to look up. Our God is full of mercy, He can punish you but He will be merciful. At the end of seven years the king realised that he was fighting the wrong person.

No kingdom that fights God and remain standing or last for a long time because that same kingdom has no wisdom. There is no one who can question God or who can stop God from doing what He is doing. When God wants to do something He doesn’t first ask for people`s opinions; He does it His own way and no one on earth can stop Him.

After the king realised and acknowledged that it is only God who is above all, all his possessions were restored back to him and he was made king again. If you are boastful God will pull you down like what happened to the king Nebuchadnezzar. I don’t know which kingdom you are belonging to, but what I can assure you is that if that kingdom is lacking God it is going to fall. It doesn’t matter how powerful your kingdom may be but if it is without God it is going to fall. What God is trying to show us is that even people who are rich like king Nebuchadnezzar can be brought down; He wants to show that everything belong to Him.

Everything that you are having does not belong to you; they belong to God. If you want God to protect you, you must obey Him and follow His commandments.

When Nebuchadnezzar was praising God, God was restoring and increasing what belonged to him.

Offering: Mr S Ravhura

2 Kings 4:1-7 “4 A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.” 2 So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” 3 Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors — empty vessels; do not gather just a few. 4 And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” 5 So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. 6 Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. 7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”” 2 Kings 4:1-7, NKJV.

Here God was showing that He helps those who help themselves. He blesses those who want to be blessed. We need to plant seeds into the kingdom of God so that God can release our blessings.

Let’s close all the loopholes of the devil into our lives especially the one of money (offerings, tithes etc)

Eph 4:27-28 “27 nor give place to the devil. 28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need.” Eph 4:27-28, NKJV.

Praise and Worship: Pastor Martina Rathiyaya
Ps 121:1-3 “I will lift up my eyes to the hills — From whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
3 He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.” Psalm 121:NKJV.

MESSAGE OF THE DAY:

“Crossing over” by Pastor Mboneni Rathiyaya, Sunday Service, the 4th of November 2012.

Scripture reading:
Josh 3:1-5 “Then Joshua rose early in the morning; and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over. 2 So it was, after three days, that the officers went through the camp; 3 and they commanded the people, saying,”When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it. 4 Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.” 5 And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”” NKJV.

Ex 19:10-11 “10 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes.
11 And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.” NKJV.

You may be asking yourself crossing over for what?

Let’s examine what was happening to the Israelites. The bible says they crossed over the Jordan River. It was their way that God has set for them, they had to cross over to the land God promised to their forefathers. It was a land full of milk and honey.

You’ll remember that even Joshua sent the spies to check out the land and they brought back a positive report, that it is a land full of milk and honey.

Before they could get to Jericho, they had to cross the Jordan River. The message says crossing over. You have to cross over. Because there is a place that God has predestined for you, things that God has predestined for you. You need to prepare yourself before you can cross over.

What is your Promised Land? You need to know what to do to be able to cross over your Red Sea. The bible says after the Israelites left Egypt God said stay here in the dessert. In front of them was the Red Sea, for them to escape from the Egyptians, they had to cross the Red Sea. You need to cross over. The question is how to cross over?

Who are your enemies? Everybody knows their enemies. You know what you are running away from. You know the witches and wizards that are behind you. You need to cross over.

I want to talk about preparation for cross over. You need to know what your problem is and what is troubling you. For some people their Red Sea is sicknesses and diseases, unemployment, curses etc. Some are employed but they can’t see where their money is going. What is your Red Sea?

The Israelites knew their Red Sea and they enquired from God on how to cross over their Red Sea.

For some people, your Red Sea is sicknesses and diseases, curses, lack, poverty Etc. Some people are so cursed that they can’t get married and even if they get married, it is so terrible that they end up going home.

Today you need to know how to walk through that curse, or through that Red Sea.

The Israelites knew their Red Sea, which was stopping them to enter their Jericho. What is stopping you to enter your Jericho? What is your Jericho?

The bible says Joshua stood up and spoke to the children of Israel. The bible tells us that they didn’t just enter the water; they spent three days on the other side before they could cross over. What were they waiting for? They were preparing themselves against their enemies.

Josh 3:3 “5 And Joshua said to the people, “Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you.”” NKJV.

What does this mean? For you and I to be able to cross over to our Promised Land we need to sanctify ourselves. We want to cross over but we are not sanctifying ourselves, not preparing ourselves. We want what is beyond Jordan River but we haven’t sanctified ourselves.

Josh 3:3 “3 and they commanded the people, saying, “When you see the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it.” NKJV.

“you shall set out from your place and go after it.” And follow the priests. How do you remove yourself if you have not sanctified yourself? You need to sanctify yourself and then stand up and follow. You need to remove yourself, stand up and sanctify yourself and follow.

Many a time we find people come to the prayer altar saying, “Please pray for me, I am sick, I need a job etc” but these people are not removing themselves, they are not following, they haven’t sanctified themselves.

The word of God says you must stand up and follow the priests. Joshua says when you see the high priest carrying the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord, you must follow him, you must follow him, but you must sanctify yourself first.

If you follow them into the water without pulling up your trousers, you’ll get wet. This is for people who will stand up and say, “I don’t want to die with this thing: sicknesses and diseases, curse etc”.

After you have sanctified yourself you must follow.

How do you follow: with your heart. My heart is in this place. If you don’t follow by faith, you will be prayed for, your CV will be prayed for until it is torn apart. You must have faith in your heart, that I am healed, I am employed, I am married. The most important things is that you must follow in faith.

Verse 14; After the Israelites had believed, sanctified themselves and followed, “14 So it was, when the people set out from their camp to cross over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people,” Josh 3:14, NKJV.

Josh 3:14-17 “14 So it was, when the people set out from their camp to cross over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, 15 and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest), 16 that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho. 17 Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.” NKJV.

I want to tell you how to cross over your Jordan River, Red Sea.

If you read in Exodus, God says to Moses, tell the children of Israel to wash their clothes, what does this mean? That God knows that we are wearing dirty clothes. We are wearing dirty clothes.

God says I want to come down to Mount Sinai, I want to see the children of Israel face to face but they need to wash themselves. Our God is not a dirty God, He is a holy God. People refuse to remove their own things, like ancestral worship. If you don’t throw these things away, you can’t cross over the Jordan River, take it all off, wash your clothes, and sanctify yourself.

They followed in faith even though the Jordan River was full. When the high priest reached the river banks, he put his feet into the water and the bible says when the water felt the feet of the high priest which was mixed with the faith of the Israelites, the water separated and gave them a guard of honour.

You need to walk through your problem, your sicknesses and diseases etc

The bible says when the high priests put their feet into the water; followed by the children of God who were full of faith it separated the water. Your faith plus the feet of the high priest must move that Jordan River, that Red Sea that is hindering your success.

The bible says the water stood in a heap. You need faith for this. The bible says you need to sanctify yourself. The high priest will not only use his feet.

The bible says you have already been told that your Promised Land is flowing with milk and honey. What is left is for you to have faith, so that when the high priest lays his hands on you, that Red Sea, that Jordan River must vanish.

Let me give you a testimony: Whilst I was in Johannesburg, my brother phoned and told me “Brother, I am dying, my colleagues are carrying me to hospital but I can feel that I am dying.” I drove from Roodepoort and when I got to the hospital the doctors said we are still busy with X-rays. I then sent a message to some of my prayer partners on what’s up. Let me tell you what’s up saved my brother’s life. My prayer partners started to intercede.

Later the doctors said they had eliminated everything and said “We think he is suffering from appendicitis”. My prayer partners on what’s up continued praying. When I informed them of the doctors’ diagnosis their response was “No operation, if they operate your brother will die!” My younger brother is a boy who believes in God. I was still waiting for (high priest) Tshifhe to come back from the mountain. That was my understanding that he was on the mountain.

Finally I got hold of the high priest; the boy was on the bed from morning until after past four because he could not move. When he moved he would scream as he was feeling a lot of pain.

The high priest said “Let me talk to him, I will pray for him”. I don’t know what the high priest said to him, all I could hear from behind me was a huge scream “Thank you Jesus, I am healed” When he was doing this he was not lying on the bed, he was jumping up and down, thanking God “Thank you Jesus. Thank you Jesus, I won’t be operated on”

He told me “When the high priest was praying for me, I felt something hit the top of my head and it went down my body straight to where the pain was and I was instantly healed. This is the God of Israel.”

The problem is that we are still mixing ourselves up: when faced with problems we go to our neighbour: Go and tell God. We talk too much. Tell God; “Circumcise my tongue, so that I can only speak life.”

What is your Promised Land? My Promised Land is good health, success, what I touch with my hand must become successful, what I touch with my hand must become gold. No sicknesses and diseases, no poverty, no broken marriages in the Promised Land. We have been promised all the good things.

Sanctify yourself, wash it all away: jealousy, talking too much, take it off and follow in faith.

Now you know why you are not getting healed, no breakthrough, why you don’t get what you desire, because you have not sanctified yourself.

Scripture reading:
Genesis12:1-3 “Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. 2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. 3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”” NKJV.

“Leave” means to get out and go somewhere, it is a word that can be told to somebody to take action. God visited Abraham and told him to leave his country and his people. When I check the scripture I think God was saying to Abraham, “I know that you are living in this land but leave your country and your people.”

Maybe God might be talking to you just like He did to Abraham. God might be telling you to leave your country and your people. Maybe the environment that you’re staying in is not suitable for your blessing; maybe the people that are surrounding you are the ones blocking your blessings. God wants you to leave the place you are sitting in, God wants you to leave your tradition and go to a place He want you to be because that is where He will bless you.

God told Abraham to leave his country and his father`s possessions and go to a Promised Land and God promised him that if he went to the Promised Land, God would bless him and make him father of the nations.

When God blesses you it means that whatsoever you touch will be well and all your wishes will come true. God promised Abraham that He will make his name great and he will be known all over. When your name is great it means you will be recognised all over. If you leave your father`s land and your country you will be a blessing and people will come to you because your life will be a blessing. Jesus Christ was a blessing to all of us that is why even today when we communicate with God we communicate through him. God is saying that if you leave the land that you are living in and go to the Promised Land God will bless you; if you bless the man of God, God will also bless you, the bible further says that I will bless those who bless you and curse all those who curse you.

This promise was given to Abraham when he was told to leave his people, his country, and his father`s house

The qualities that God considers when He wants to bless you:

1 A Pure heart.
1 Sam 16:12 “12 So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with bright eyes, and good-looking. And the Lord said, “Arise, anoint him; for this is the one!”” NKJV.

God wants to bless you but He needs a pure heart. A person who had a pure heart was David the son of Jesse. God wanted a person who would replace King Saul but when He looked around He found that there was David. He was the only man who had a pure heart.

You may be young in your family like David, you may be young in terms of your pocket, you maybe young in years but maybe God wants to bless you today. When God blesses He doesn’t care about your possession. He doesn’t care whether you are rich or poor but He considers a pure heart. The question is do you have that pure heart? Can God bless you when He looks at your heart?

2. Upright in the side of God.
Luke 1:5-6 “There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the division of Abijah. His wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth. 6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.”
NKJV.

Zachariah was a priest but without children but when God looked at him He found that he qualified to be blessed because he was upright and he was blameless before God. When you are blessed it means that everything that you touch is also blessed. God blessed Zachariah with a son called John. The very same John the Baptist.

3. Be blameless and walk before God
Gen17:1 “When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,”I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless.” NKJV.

Abraham was blessed when he was ninety nine years old. John the Baptist was blessed before he was born so age is not a limit to your blessings. When God blesses you He does not consider age. God is talking to someone here, have you thrown the towel in? Maybe at this stage you have already given up, maybe people are laughing at you, maybe you are old but don’t give up because even if they don’t listen to you there is someone who listens to you and He is looking for your pure heart.

Are you sure that what you are today God wants you to be like that? If God says “Yes” who can say “No!” God works with an appointed times. Do not rush, be blameless and walk before God, God will bless you and if God says “Yes!” We can’t say “No!”

God is saying to you today that what you have today is not enough, what you are going through is not final about your life, don’t give up because God is about to release your blessings. God says that what you have today is not what God wants you to have; there are things that are hidden in the darkness and He is about to release them. If God says “Yes” with your life, who can say “No!” It is not about the age or your physical appearance but the important thing is who is inside you.

David was anointed and that is the reason he faced Goliath; when he fought Goliath he didn’t do it on his own but he went with the name, the name of Jesus; the name that is above all things. The bible says that those who are with us are greater than those who are fighting against us. If God is with you who can be against you?

Think of giants like Shadrack, Meshack and Abednego, they were arrested by the king for not worshiping his gods but they stood on the name of Jesus and when they were thrown into the fire nothing happened because they were having a God who blesses by fire. Who are you walking with in your life?

“Judgment Day Separation” by Rev Samuel Mametsa, Sunday Service, the 21st of October 2012.

http://kutamaphc.weebly.com/21-october-2012-sunday.html

Scripture reading:
Matt 25:31-44 “31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ 41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand,’Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’ 44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’” Matt 25:31-44, NKJV.

This is the word of God from the master Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is giving us a glimpse of what will happen on Judgment Day. The bible says in verse 31, that when the Son of man come in glory, meaning He won’t come in the physical form; He will come carrying the annointing
from heaven.

That is why the bible says “When the Son of Man comes in His glory,” [Matt 25:31, NKJV] which means further that He will be equipped with glory, He will be equipped with glory anger and He will be equipped with glory fury. This means we won’t talk about grace, we won’t talk about mercy, and we won’t talk about compassion because the glory He will be carrying is for judgment.

The bible says when “…and all the holy angels with Him,…” [Matt 25:31
NKJV]. This means the angels will be equipped with glory for holiness. They can’t go with him without the holiness

The bible says “…then He will sit on the throne of His glory.” Matt 25:31, NKJV. He will be seated, He will be honored. God the Creator in heaven will step down from His throne. Yes, God in heaven will step down. When Jesus is in glory Jesus Christ will be given the chair of the Creator. On that day God the Creator will step down. God the creator, who created everything will vacate his chair and say “My son, you are worthy, judge. You know those who call upon your name. I don’t know them, that is why I respect you. You are worthy. Yes I didn’t make a mistake. When you were dying I said this is my beloved son in whom I am pleased. Now this is your reward. Now sit. You know them. Those who were serving you properly, judge them.”

In verse 32, “32 All the nations will be gathered before Him” Matt 25:32, NKJV. I don’t know who you are today, Venda, Shangaan, Zulu, Xhosa, Muslim etc but the bible says all the nations shall gather before the throne. Jesus Christ was giving a glimpse. All nations, all life, good or bad, rich, fancy, poor etc. The bible says all life shall gather before Jesus Christ after He is given the throne.

In verse 32 , the bible never says the nations will be begged. The bible says all nations will be gathered, I don’t know by whom, they shall be forced. They shall know that they must come and stand before the throne to receive judgment.

There is this song which says “The home that we so desire, we can see it from far”.

I ask myself “Do the people understand this song when they sing the song, do they understand the home, or the house that they are talking about?” The song says “We can see this home, the hills also” My worry is that people sing it but they can’t see the home yet.

There is another song that people sing which pains me a lot “We lay our lives before you. Oh how much we love You” Do you understand this song? This song was sung by Jesus Christ, when He was dying, He said “I lay my life before You God.” If you sing that song and you don’t live what the song says, then you are lying. Because the life you are living outside of church is different It is not the life which had been laid down. You are preaching something you can’t live.

If you really meant that song, if you were living that song, He will prove it to us on His throne. You can sign a song, and say “The home that we so desire, we can see it from far” and really sing it and see the home spiritually and end up not making it there. Don’t sing, speak or preach what you can’t do. This song will reprimand you.

The song says “The happiness where we will meet;” it is not all who will experience it. The song says those who will be elected will experience the happiness. The song says on Judgment Day when the Master is seating in front of us wiping off the sweat from His face, so that He can see His mark on the people properly. The bible says “all nations”, all churches will be gathered, all witches and wizards will be gathered, all false prophets, all crippled people, and everybody will be gathered. And all those people will be singing, “Happiness there in front, we will meet there”. They will be singing. This song doesn’t care if you are a Christian or not, you can sing it. What matter is not that you sing the song but that moment when you stand before the throne and Jesus judges.

You can sing it consoling yourself “We will meet there!” Who told you? According to the word of God the throne, is not in that house (home). The throne where Jesus is seated at is not that house, because it would mean that Jesus will give happiness to those who are not supposed to enter the home. You may refuse to go out after tasting this happiness. So He won’t make this mistake. The throne is before the home. There will be a place, where you will stand, you can even sing the song but the matter is that after judgment, can you still sing this song? That is my question. Will we still have the energy to sing this song?

“32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another,” Matt 25:32, NKJV. This is where problem will start. The throne will be taking authority, separating them from one another. Your friend will go this way, your cousin that way, your uncle that side. He will separate them. Do you know separation? You know the separation of people who were married. In such a case, if you involve the pastor they may be united again. The separation the bible is talking about cannot be reversed. It is the separation on the throne.

“…as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats.” Matt 25:32, NKJV. A shepherd knows how to separate donkeys, cows and goats. The bible says Jesus seated on the throne will separate the people. The One who has been given power to separate eternally.

“33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left.” Matt 25:33, NKJV. Please understand this wisdom. Why are the sheep taken to the left whilst the goats are on the right? The bible says before Jesus Christ is given power on the throne He is seated on the right hand, meaning the sheep represent Jesus Christ whilst the goats represent satan.

The bible says He will separate the goat from the sheep. He can’t take the sheep to the left whilst He is seating on the right.

“34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:” Matt 25:34, NKJV. It means those on the right are the ones who will start singing “Happiness we will meet there.” When people are told to go to the right, they will start to dance because they will seat on the right of the Father. When you are told to go the left, you will lose the tune of the song. Even if you wanted to sing the song, that tune will die from you for good. The bible says Jesus will separate us like sheep and goat.

When you live in this world make sure your life is like that of the sheep.

Let’s talk about the goats. Do you want to be a sheep or goat? Some of the goats will be saying “But I was going to Pastor Mametsa’s church?” Going to a particular church doesn’t help if you are not living the right life. The bible says there will be a lot of complaints. They will raise their hands trying to catch the attention of Jesus saying “Sorry Master Jesus, you have made a mistake. I am supposed to be on the other side.” He will check His books. Because He has glory, He won’t make any mistakes. If you hear you are supposed to go to the left, don’t complain, just fall down and roll towards that side.

The bible says people will complain, some will plead for their lives.

The bible says the glory given, has no compassion, has no mercy. Even if you plead, there will be no mercy. Your time of mercy, pleading is now, whilst you are still alive on earth.

We are talking about the time of Judgment. The time to say sorry is now. The bible says that at that time He would not have been given the spirit of mercy. Those who will be raising their hands will ask “Lord, why do you take us to the left?” The bible says Jesus will say “35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food;” Matt 25:35, NKJV. He will be talking to the goats. Jesus Christ is hungry, it’s up to you if you give Him food or not. But He will get you. People are so greedy. You can buy food for them but they will cook it and tell you there is no food. Jesus Christ gives you food but you don’t give it back to Him, the owner.

“I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink?” Matt 25:35-37, NKJV.

Let me explain what I mean by this. You are not going to see Jesus Christ with your naked eyes. You can’t greet Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ will prove what God says. God says “I created you in my own image.” This means that every person that you meet is Jesus Christ. That poor person staying next to you is Jesus Christ, the one who sleeps without eating food. That poverty stricken family, who puts on the same shoe throughout the whole year and you see it with your naked eyes. That child that sleeps without blankets is Jesus Christ. That child that is in hospital, that you don’t visit because they are poor. The problem is that with some people when God shows them something they must do, they first go to somebody else. Why go to somebody else, because God has shown you, He is saying to you “Do something!”

You are staying next to a child who is struggling and you say “This child will fend for herself.” This child is Jesus, the one that He says I showed you this person and you did nothing. You will be accountable for this when Jesus Christ takes on the throne. “That child next to you, who I heard, died of hunger? Where were you?”

Let me give you an example: When a retarded person comes to your house, with saliva dripping from the house and says “Please can I have some water.” What comes to your mind? “Who will use this cup after this person he drinks from it?” You may now want to get a cup specially for this person. The bible says the eyes of God are watching. You want to give the water but the problem is the cup and God is looking at you. When this mentally retarded person is coming, there is this other handsome man who also comes and says “Please give me some water to drink” and you go and take that sealed cup that is waiting for Christmas. You feel that Christmas is delaying; “This one is not worthy to drink from this cup”. You start by giving the rich man and the mentally retarded man is watching you. You even kneel down for the rich man, and the mentally retarded men comes near “I am next” and he is surprised as he will be getting water in a steel cup and told “Here, drink fast!”. Jesus Christ says I am watching, a record is being captured of this event.

So, when you have raised your complaint with Jesus Christ on the throne, He won’t respond. He will just replay the record. He knows that the goats, who belong to satan are very argumentative. He will just say “Sunday, such and such a date, play the record” and all the nations will see your life of sinfulness, of a goat.

The bible says some are suffering, with no clothes but you have lot of clothes, some don’t fit you anymore but there is somebody who has one dress, she must wash that dress and wait for it to dry and then put it back on. The bible says Jesus will replay your life back to you and say “Were you serving Me?”

Sometimes God will show you something, only you, expecting you to act. Don’t shift the blame. Do it, He can’t show you and not give you the grace to fulfill it.

Even when you have given that water in that broken cup, you haven’t given Him anything because the rich man drank from a nicer glass. There are people who don’t share their food especially when they have cooked nice food.

Ask yourself Am I a goat or sheep?

“40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’” Matt 25:37, NKJV.
I don’t know what you are doing to another person but you must know that you are doing it to Jesus. Maybe you are doing something to somebody, just close your eyes and do. “…the least…” Matt 25:40, NKJV “…the least…” are those dis-advantaged people.

When people arrange functions and parties they judge the people that they will invite. They invite people who will bring presents, they even rate the families. I want you to know that Jesus Christ is watching. Don’t undermine people because of their financial position. Jesus Christ is saying don’t undermine people. Why is it that God doesn’t undermine people? It doesn’t rain on rich people only. The sun doesn’t shine on rich people only. One day those people will be restored by God and be much better than you.

I heard a story about a rich man who used to undermine other people. He used to refuse to give lifts to poor people saying they will infest me with their poverty. Then God judged Him from above and he became so poor and ended up a pedestrian. One day it was raining so hard and he was walking on foot and this one man felt pity for him and stopped to give him a lift. Out of embarrassment, the ex-rich man refused to situation in front inside the car but opted to sit at the back, even when it was still raining. It was because he could remember his own words about other people.

The bible says God, uses people; they become the earthly angels. God uses human beings as earthly angels. God can use people to be earthly angels. That is why Jesus says “Take care of everybody because you will chase angels from your home.”

It once happened to me whilst I was still saying in Diepkloof. I was with Pastor Mukwevho. It happened when I was accompanying him back to Meadowlands between Diepkloof and Orland. I saw two old ladies, around 80 years old. It was after midnight. They could not see clearly. They used the sticks to stop me for a lift. I said to myself “These old ladies, at this time.” I wanted to pass thinking maybe criminals are using them as bait. I ended up hitting dead brakes. Pastor Mukwevho asked “What are you doing so late at night?” “Another car left us here, we are going to this hospital”. I knew the hospital they were talking about and I said “Let’s go with them.” We turned to accommodate them. The good thing was that the hospital is located next to the main road. I drove there and parked next to the hospital gate, there was bright light and security. Pastor Mukwevho opened the door and those two old ladies said “Thanks!” whilst going. I drove a little bit, but the car stuck a very short distance from them. We looked back but those two ladies had disappeared. We had a serious problem “Who had we given a lift to?” We started to pray, God said “Don’t worry, you were carrying angels, I was testing you, they are gone.” This is not a story, it happened to me, it may have happened to you many why times. God said to me. If you had not lifted them, you would have known me.

God may place somebody in your way in order to test you but because you expect only the good and best He will bring the least of the people to test you. You need discernment. Do you think God can just bring useless things in this world? He wants to check when you say “Jesus!”, Jesus do you really mean it.

Verse 40: “40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’” Matt 25:40, NKJV.

How many people have gone to prison just to visit prisoners? Or maybe go there to pray with them? Be careful you don’t become a goat! If you have never been in prison, how do you know Jesus is not there?

Your next door child is Jesus Christ.

“46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”” Matt 25:46, NKJV.

The goats will suffer forever. The sheep will have everlasting joy. Your challenge is: is your life that of a sheep or goat? Answer the question yourself. Do a self-introspection of your life, is my life that of a goat or sheep? You need to ask God, in the spirit, closing your eyes.
Sometimes we are given power by God to operate in a certain level but because you are still operating as a goat you can’t operate. As this thing is preventing you to start serving God, Do a self-introspection.

Ask God pleading: I don’t want to argue with you. I heard that on your throne there are no argument, now, I ask you, show me my life, if my life makes you happy, it will make me happy. But if my life doesn’t make you happy, help me to see the things that I am doing wrong so I can change. It is only the Holy Spirit; who can show me my life. Yes, I see everything is well, but I don’t want to find myself being separated as a goat.

Scripture reading: “1 The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests who were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin, 2 to whom the word of the Lord came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign. 3 It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, until the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month. The Prophet Is Called 4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying: 5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” 6 Then said I: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” 7 But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord. 9 Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: “Behold, I have put My words in your mouth. 10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms, To root out and to pull down, To destroy and to throw down, To build and to plant.” 11 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” 12 Then the Lord said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.” 13 And the word of the Lord came to me the second time, saying, “What do you see?” And I said, “I see a boiling pot, and it is facing away from the north.” 14 Then the Lord said to me: “Out of the north calamity shall break forth On all the inhabitants of the land. 15 For behold, I am calling All the families of the kingdoms of the north,” says the Lord; “They shall come and each one set his throne At the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, Against all its walls all around, And against all the cities of Judah. 16 I will utter My judgments Against them concerning all their wickedness, Because they have forsaken Me, Burned incense to other gods, And worshiped the works of their own hands. 17 “Therefore prepare yourself and arise, And speak to them all that I command you. Do not be dismayed before their faces, Lest I dismay you before them. 18 For behold, I have made you this day A fortified city and an iron pillar, And bronze walls against the whole land — Against the kings of Judah, Against its princes, Against its priests, And against the people of the land. 19 They will fight against you, But they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you,” says the Lord, “to deliver you.”” Jeremiah 1:1-19, NKJV.

Jeremiah was a person who used to talk to God, God called Jeremiah when he was still young but Jeremiah refused and told God that he was still young. God promised him that He will be with him and will lead him, God showed him a house which was on top of the mountain; symbolizing that a house which is on top of the mountain is not hidden. A house that is on top of the mountain can be seen by every person. This is about you and me because everyone is chosen. It is not about Jeremiah only who was chosen; all of us are called.

Do not be afraid, do not have fear and say “I cannot…” (Jer 1:6, NKJV) because God will guide you and show you the way. I believe that this iron pillar which is on the house that is not of the mountain is placed there to strengthen that house. You and I have a pillar which is the Holy Spirit, the one who guide us and shows us the way. That is why I am saying that you and I should not move away from our glory, when we face situations do not go back to the wilderness stay there and see the salvation God will bring to you.

When you are faced with challenges just call the name of God and ask God to help you, do not give up. You were made with a purpose and your purpose can be revealed only if you stay on the mountain and do not go back to the wilderness because God wants to see your commitment. Then God will show you what He wants you to do.

When God says “Stay on the mountain” He is talking about your heart, you need to talk to your heart and let your heart serve God. Do not be afraid but stand firm and listen to what God is saying to you, there will be a lot of things that will scare you and make you feel afraid but what I can tell you is that, do not allow those things to make you depart from God. It doesn’t matter what you are going through but do not allow yourself to step down from your glory.

Stand firm and say that these situations need Jesus and call Him and He will be the solution to what you are going through. Just know that you have the Holy Spirit in you so whatsoever challenges you, don’t let it make you depart from the glory.

Prayer Points: Pastor Ramuhuyu

01. Ask God for forgiveness
“1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear. 2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, So that He will not hear. 3 For your hands are defiled with blood, And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity.” Isa 59:1-3, NKJV.

I want you to understand why sometimes when you pray there is nothing that you receive. Maybe it has been long you have been asking God to bless you but nothing is happening. Maybe you even fasted, went to the mountain to pray but still nothing is happening. So I just want you to know why this is happening to you.

The bible says it is your inequities that separate you from God`s presence, sometimes when you pray you might think that God is in the same place where you are but find out that in fact He is not there at all. “2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God;…” Isa 59:2, NKJV.

When you have sinned or you have hurt someone it means that your hands are full of blood. “3 For your hands are defiled with blood,…” Isa 59:3, NKJV. I want us to pray this prayer points and remove this veil that is stopping our prayers to reach Jesus.

“Your lips have spoken lies, Your tongue has muttered perversity.” Isa 59:3, NKJV. God doesn’t love gossipers so when you talk to God and you want Him to hear, you need to forsake gossiping and start to pray. It is not all the prayers that when we pray God will hear them or respond to them.

02. Ask God to grow spiritually
“30 He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30, NKJV.

You know Christians of these days like to boost and we like to have the status but God is speaking to us he is saying stop to boost and you must humble yourself and let God to increase and his glory to be magnified and his precious name to be worshiped.

03. Ask God to open doors for our prosperity
“7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens””: Rev 3:7, NKJV.

Sometimes when you pray do not to what people are saying just focus to your God because he is the one holding the key of your prosperity, and when he has opened no one will be able to close and if he close no one will open. The Vail that was preventing God to hear your prayer is removed so you are talking to God face to face.

04. Blessing the man of God
“8 Then the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.”” 1 Kings 17:8-9, NKJV.

When the man of God approached this widow she was lacking. If you read further the bible will tell you that she was left with little to eat and was going to die but the man of God asked her to give that very little to him.

“14 For thus says the Lord God of Israel: ‘The bin of flour shall not be used up, nor shall the jar of oil run dry, until the day the Lord sends rain on the earth.'”” 1 Kings 17:14, NKJV.

The reason why we are suffering is because we are greedy and we don’t want to give, especially to the man of God. That is not what God wants from us. God wants us to give so we need to give first. Sometimes when you don’t give you are preventing good things to come to you.

05. Ask God to give us the grace to finish building this church
“1 Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.” Psalm127:1, NKJV.
